I am reminded of the scene in Jaws where he says “We’re going to need a bigger boat”.
What is the space of your hard drive that your system uses?
What is the size of your memory stick?
Ensure that your memory stick – or rather flash drive is large enough.
That’s a 512GB one there.

I don’t know where you are but, if you are in the UK, I’ve just ordered 2 more “Integral 512GB Black USB 3.0 Super Speed Fast Memory Flash Drive“… because I’ve bought them before and I’ve been impressed with their speed… and their price has dropped.
I’ve never backed up to a flash drive… only HDDs and SSDs, but, if I had to… this is a stick I would recommend. I currently have 3… and 2 more arriving tomorrow.
Hope this helps…
How do I backup my win10 to a memory stick?
Do you want to create a full image backup of your PC ? Backup to an external HDD (cheap) or external portable SSD (like Samsung T7 : 512GB – 4TB)
With any backup software you decide which device to use for storing backups.
You do not backup to USB sticks. They are not reliable enough.
Buy a big external hard disk and store multiple backups on it, then store it in a secure place away from your computer, preferably in a fire / water proof safe.

Agreed, flash drives are not designed for that level of reliability. If the enclosure or cabling of the better choice an external hard drive/SSD fails it can be saved in a generic enclosure. Flash drives if the usb becomes bent are not recoverable by the home user. Flash drives are not tested for tossing in a drawer and working later. They are too small, too easy for a pest to eat or to fall in a crack.
