Well, it seems as if at least someone in Redmond is currently or has been listening to feedback about lumping security fixes together with non security fixes into the monthly Cumulative or Quality Updates for Windows 10.
Last week, Microsoft made a formal announcement about their new policy with regards to the monthly updates for Windows 10-based machines. They’re now letting organizations roll back certain fixes that wind up actually causing problems rather than fixing or improving things. Consumers, however, are at MS’s mercy.
