Yesterday my windows 7 (with 0patch) showed the update icon in the notification area. KB3004375 and KB3031432.

I dutifully installed. But hasn’t MS stopped support for W7?

Stopped support for HOME  version.  That’s why  home users purchase 0Patch Pro.

Those are old patches that may have been missing, or ones that MS has changed the metadata on and made them show up. The one I looked up was from 2015. It will hurt nothing to install them (but they may not install after all).

This usually happens when the componentstore is cleared by either the user or MS whenever they deem it necessary. Usually a CU with lots of superseded patches within the update causes this to happen, that wipes the componenstore clean only to refresh the entire componentstore behind your back whilst online.
