Hi all! Please help with this problem!

Win7 Home premium on 64 bit machine

kb3011780 says it has successfully installed but everytime you reboot it wants to install. It shows as Successful in View Update History but the update never shows in installed updates.

Have also tried to unselect it since it only seems to be applicable if running on a domain but it re-checks itself to install.

Have tried Win Updater troubleshooter and it fixed a couple things but problem remains.

Ran MS Fix it. No problems found.

I have run SFC and it says everything is fine.

Its driving me crazy and I would prefer not to re-install windows.

Please advise. Thanks fo your help.

Do you have a restore point before the update?

No current restore point. The machine belongs to a friend and has been doing this endless re-install since November when it was first released.

I was able to hide it by the right click. Will check on for the upcoming Patch Tuesday. I did install some remote software so I don’t have to go out in the brutal cold! LOL

        THANKS!!!!
