I have an E-machine running Win Vista Home Premium, with 2 GB RAM and 120Gb HDD.
Win will not run updates, Win Defender will not update and SpybotSD will not run updates.
Superantispyware and Malwarebytes both update apparently OK.

WU turns on when I start the machine but when I try to update Win Def it won’t run.
Spybot says that there are updates available but, it stalls and does nothing in 15 minutes.
I have read several issues about updates but they are mostly for Win 7.

When I run win update i get error 80040154 an unknown error.
My computer has no updates since 9/15/16.
