I’m Rez. Recntly in word 2007 (win 7) whenever I go,

Insert (tab) => Equation (down arrow)

all the built-in equations in the menu are appearing in a strange way, some symbols are “up/down”  from others, some have strike through them. I already have repair and or uninstalled the entire office program but the problem does not resolved.

Any help will be greatly appreciated, Thank you.

The equation editor feature in older versions of “Office” has been deprecated by MS because of a security problem. Newer versions (from Office 2016 on, if I remember correctly), have instead the “Equation” option in the “Insert” menu, as well as “Symbol” that sometimes also comes in handy for writing mathematical formulas. I don’t know if this answers the question posed here, but it might be related to the answer, so I am mentioning it, just in case it helps.
