WuMgr is showing two updates ready for download on my standalone Windows 10 Pro 1809 (build 17763.253): KBs 4480056 and 4480116.
I see 4480116 being mentioned before, but nothing on 4480056. Anyone?

      KB 4480056 = 2019-01 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.7.2 for Windows 10 Version 1809 for x64 / Category Windows 10 LTSB: Security Updates / 55.99MB

      KB 4480116 = 2019-01 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1809 for x64 Systems / Category Security Updates / 82.21GB

@woody et al: no attach/select file button present, so I dragged&dropped the image below. Hope it sticks…

      Nope it doesn’t.

P.S. Strange that my Win10 Pro is getting a LTSB update offered!

Here is the information for KB4480056. It is .NET CU for Win10 1809 and Win10 1809 LTSB

        Thanks, PKCano.

.NET updates are usually considered benign, but I don’t see anyone who installed this one.
        Better wait, I think.

I installed it with no problem. No issues reported on the MS pages either (which may mean something, or not.)

You’re right: .NET KB 4480056 installed just fine and all seems to function well. Thanks.

The WU catalog say that KB4480056 (Jan 8, 2019) replaces KB4470502 (Dec 11, 2018), but nothing about KB4481031 (Jan 22, 2019) which got delivered as an automatic .NET Framework update to some of us during a 24 hour period. The latter says that it replaces KB4469041 (Dec 5, 2018) but nothing about KB4470502 nor about KB4480056.

Are we sufficiently confused about “cumulative” updates yet? 🙁

… if you had 4470502 2018-12 non-preview, mainline, generally thought as good .NET CU, you’ll get 4480056.
If you had 4469041 2018-11 preview .NET CU, you’ll get 4481031, which isn’t labeled as a preview update by MS … but apparently is one anyway?
