Using W 11 Home  22H2. Have tried on 3 browsers with same result (Brave, Edge, Chrome)

Only extension in use is Dashlane. Use ESET for security

Have looked through browser settings and Windows to no avail

If Internet Explorer is nearly dead and dangerous how can I get it out of my Win 10 OS?

Fred, I’ve found of late that a number of sites including some Microsoft do not “activate” Last Pass and I hvae to go copy the password to enter it. That is annoying.

I too do not find the “version” on my Windows 10 Home system on the “About” page.
This actually happens fairly frequently that the method you cite does not produce the anticipated result. What is up with that?

Why is it that the numbers identifying the Windows Updates (7×64) never match those quoted by Susan Bradley in her update column?

I wish MS would make auto update of Windows Defender as easy as other security vendors. The creation of a restore point seems unnecessary and time consuming.

Thanks. I have hid the updates but every day there seem to be new ones appear from as far back as 2008.
I did original uninstall using Control Panel and then followed up with CCleaner.
