looks like i missed a solution, i tryed installing that driver as it was indeed missing [as was pointed out to me] but error msg said that that inf file selected will not support this method of installation.

does this mean i have wrong version?of either itunes or the driver
      thanks

its 120 gb that i just fitted [plus a few gb on the pcb] [Iota PC]. am not worryed about things going pear shaped, its just the space issue
      thanks

You can always delete those saved updates, Windows.old backups… using Disk Cleanup or Storage feature. You can also not create Sleep/Hibernation files.
I use Portable apps when I can (95% of apps on my system are portable) and I save the apps on a separate drive.

i tryed deleting updates before i got the new disk . am concerned that updates will go on for ever and i’ll be buying new disk every year.. pls someone comment on this would be very helpful
      thanx

thanks both people above. notifications not working so didnt know about replies. free space is very little, get error msg’s about it..

will try that software, sounds great, thanks

    • in reply to: win 10 updates #2291217

thanks for that. ive got some space now but its only a secondary problem. i want to control or completely stop updates otherwise i will have my internet speed bogged down [as is usual]. also i will soon run out of space too. im not buying a new hhd just cause ms force updates on me

and i do realize the importance of security updates but the is just a pc for browsing in cafes etc

am happy to stick with the current win 10 version forced on me [unless you thinks its c*** in which case i’ll go backwards]

      cheers
