AskWoody PlusSusan, in your podcast you mention and show you have installed KB4023057 (the 1809 prep patch). Is this just for your test machine or business world, or do you recommend we allow this update to install?
I’m running Window 10 Pro x64 V1803 Feature update 365 day delay and in no hurry to obtain 1809 until the Woody World welcomes it.
I have been hiding mine via wushowhide based on opinions provided on this site in varous other postings.

AskWoody PlusJanuary 21, 2019 at 11:18 am in reply to: FAQ: AskWoody, Windows Secrets, Subscriptions and ongoing database clashes #314571Could someone please refer me to a post or forum or explain how to enter a reference to a previous post as a link into a current post?
Such as “blah blah blah as discussed here (clickable link)”.
Thanks

The Home page also now has a Newsletter/Alerts tab that Woodys says will eventually only be available to Plus Members. This appears to list the Newsletters. So do Plus Members even need to have a weekly email delivered?

Using the Test Forum before/while registering does cause confusion.
Ultimately all worked out so all is good!

I note some members have what I would call a footnote at the bottom of their postings.
Is this accomplished via your Profile Signature block?
Thanks

AskWoody PlusI recently updated Retail Office 2016 C2R from September 2018 up to the latest January 2019 updates.
It did not update the talked about Ribbon Icons. Suspect due to they being a Feature update which is not updated on the one time purchase version.

Tried a short post in the Testing Forum – says waiting for moderator. Saw this below per PKCano.
Be aware that your first post will need to be moderated. But afterward, posting will be immediate.
How long does this part take before I’m legit?
