AskWoody PlusThis is for the SIII but there is some differences between a EU SIII and an AT&T. I do not know if they are SIGNIFICANT differences.

PS anyone know why FF spellchecking should work on an XP machine but not a Linux ??
PPS enjoy your trip, I always wanted to go.

AskWoody PlusI had not thought of the point that changing passwords regularly would discourage sharing but it would also be a valid critique that that when passwords are changed often one is more likely to forget and need to borrow, catch 22.
I have always felt a mandated password change (like I have @ work) is counter productive. I have a long nonsense phrase that gets a regular modefication when needed.

AskWoody PlusI was just reading the Gizmodo reviews and I see that it says ZA does NOT have HIPS protection. I thought that is what ZAs OSfirewall was all about.
Quoting ZA: Advanced Firewall
No product is 100% effective against viruses or spyware. ZoneAlarm’s advanced firewall monitors behaviors within your computer to spot and stop even the most sophisticated new attacks that bypass traditional antivirus and security suites.OSFirewallTM monitors programs for suspicious behavior, spotting and stopping new attacks that bypass traditional antivirus protection.
Advanced-access Protection targets and defeats new, advanced attacks that other firewalls miss, such as raw data access, timing, and SCM and COM attacks.
Zero-hour Protection prevents silent outbreaks from gaining system access – before other security programs can even detect the threat.
Application Control uniquely shields your operating system during start-up, before most security products have even loaded.
Early Boot Protection uniquely shields your operating system during start-up, before most security products have even loaded. What am I missing here? Does not that sound like what a HIPS does??? I am getting a feeling of Deja vu (again).
I am thinking of one of the free suites, just to have all the parts play nicely with each other. If ZA really does have HIPS it would be a contender. I remeber the Comodo learning curve was rather steep. I had it on a laptop and abandoned it for a simpler soloution.

AskWoody PlusSomeone else raised this earlier and I have not seen any response yet – why did the problem persist after using an image to revert to a state before the problem happened?
I was wondering that myself, maybe something auto-updated right after the restoration.

OOK Well Fedup er Fedex must have changed their schedule again, I nearly tripped over it on my way to work. The unit has a pleasingly hefty feel to it. And it sure blows! I was demonstrating it to a co-worker and blew a bunch of papers thumb tacked to the all over. I am pleased so far.PS
Just a note I am sure FF spell check on an older FF works here at home but not 23 on Linux??? It is enabled in settings.🍻

AskWoody PlusWell still did not buy it. Filleted my self a bit making corned beef and cabbage. It was a carrot that did it, a baby carrot.
Thanks for all the feed back.steve that price does look crazy.
wiley I have heard that about ball bearing fans being damaged by compressed air rotating them too fast. I can’t get my head around why that should be but I have seen it often enough to believe it. I must say before I learned of the possibility I failed to noticeably destroy any multiple times
It has also been said that a dull knife is more dangerous that a sharp knife… well I am wishing that knife was a lot duller ( or maybe sharp enough to not roll of the carrot on to my careless finger.
