Does “you mileage may vary” means: what you did in the past may be different from other users did ?

Sorry i’m not native english speaking and I hate abreviations and acronyms.

Can you specify which older email client’s programs could stop working with the latest cumulative update ?

My computer is a 10 year old Dell XPS 8300.

Actually I have a legacy Bios and a 1 terabyte SSD with MBR partitionning.

So my question is: When I make my Win 11 USB installation key with Rufus, do I select MBR or GPT.

Windows 10 can be upgraded to RTM Windows 11 simply by using the Windows 10 installation media with the \sources\install.wim (or \sources\install.esd) replaced with the same file from the Windows 11 installation media

Can you write a topic that explain the exact steps to do that.

Also they say that you need a Microsoft account tou install Win 11.

They really want to get control on everything. This pissed me off.

The article say “System firmware UEFI, Secure Boot capable” so that means older PC with legacy BIOS won’t be compatible. What a good marketing strategy to force people to buy a new computer.
      It suck’s.

I think I know what happened. When I was on 1909, I have installed a group policy editor that adds it to Home version and when I upgraded to 20H2, it has been disabled !
