Personally I have updated to 20H2, os build 19042.662.  My desktop computer is working perfectly so far.  I have no complaints.

Paul,  This past week everything is humming along just fine.  No freezing, no unable to click on any icon and I been able to open my web browser as I please.

Yes I have a Dell desktop computer and Microsoft found my machine to be worthy.   2004 was installed on my computer a month ago.  This computer is strictly for my personal use.   I do find that the computer is a bullheaded at times.  By this I mean, sometimes I have found it to be working in the background but nothing shows in task master to trigger this working.  Sometimes I have found the computer to be completely frozen not being able to click on any icon, nor open my web browser.

I thank you for your advice.  So far today things are normal.  Don’t know enough about task manager to help me find out what was going on.

Word has changed so much since Office 97.

I can see now I will never advance to Windows 8. Too complicated for me.
