I downloaded chrome and installed it,sure enough the ask search engine is there? I did not have chrome before. Thanks gws.

AskWoody LoungerI have Thunderbird set to Leave messages on server (for 20 days) or (until I delete them), the emails are deleted from my server when I delete them in Thunderbird.

AskWoody LoungerI seem to recall of a problem with a spammer in Russia a couple of years back who was flooding Russians with spam. Their solution was a bullet in the head. A bit extreme I agree.

AskWoody LoungerI use search status 1.36 and the google page rank no longer displays. Bit of a minger FF 7.1, its a bit quicker but no other obvious advantages for me.

AskWoody LoungerAs your site was not registered until 17 th November Google along with most major search engines will sandbox you for 3 Months to make sure you are not a scam / phishing site.

Can you access “Date and Time” from the control panel?
“timedate.cpl” should be located in C:WindowsSystem32.When windows doesn’t know what program to open a file with it offers to go online and find the correct one “this is the web service i describe” I have used this since it first came out with win 95 I think and it has never ever found the right program, hence my comment “about as much use as tits on bull”. Yes I can adjust date and time from the control panel as I originally posted. Cheers gws

AskWoody LoungerFor sfc to work in win 7 you have to use an elevated command prompt, In the Start Menu search box area, type cmd and press CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER.

AskWoody LoungerPut your windows 7 disc in your cd/dvd player.Then click on start,run then type in sfc /scannow then click on ok.Notice the space between the sfc /.
