ISSUE 17.26.1 • 2020-07-08 • It’s time to get the June patches installed

Woody LeonhardBy Woody Leonhard

With a couple of unresolved bugs, and a couple of sloppy patches that have been fixed, now’s as good a time as any to get caught up on Windows and Office patches.

Two printer bugs, patches from strange locations (the Windows Store!), and a now-resolved conflict between the June Windows patches and the latest version of Office (er, Microsoft 365) Click-to-Run have made it one exciting month.

But all of that is behind us, fixed, or at least well-known and readily circumvented. Get your Windows and Office patches installed, and look out for things that go bump in the night.

Step-by-step details in Computerworld. If you have any questions, or hit anything that looks dodgy, please drop by the AskWoody Lounge.
