Microsoft’s solution was to expire the update in WSUS and supposedly remove from Windows Update.

KB4074805 is for Win 7 & Server 2008 R2. KB4074807 affects Win 8.1, Win RT 8.1 & Server 2012 R2. Again, they’re both Preview Rollups for .NET Framework. If you don’t install them, you’re fine.

Bought a refurbished Windows 10 64-bit, currently updated to 22H2. Have broke the AC adapter cord going to the 8.1 machine, but before that, coaxed it into charging. Need to buy new adapter if wish to continue using it.

Just to be clear, Quickbooks and Quicken are two different products. Intuit still owns Quickbooks and divested itself of Quicken in March, 2016. Quicken is now a standalone company that is completely separate from Intuit.

I use Quicken 2016 and haven’t seen any issues with the .NET updates. I should note that I haven’t installed any February updates yet.
