Noticed the last couple Windows updates that after about a week, they just disappear and I gain back 3-4 GB disk space. I did the WU on 10/1 and found 1 restore point created and that is the only one on my system. Defragged my HD on 10/5 and checked and restore point still there. Disk space was the same until this morning when I noticed the fore mention increase and checked and sure enough, the restore point was gone. Noticed something very similar last month. Anyone else noticing anything similar? I do not think I changed any settings and do not think that there is even a longevity setting for these.

Patch reliability is unclear. Unless you have an immediate, pressing need to install a specific patch, don't do it. |
