    I hit this last night logging into QuickBooks online, but you may also see it when logging into TurboTax on a system that supports passkeys. A passkey

      There are several websites that I use where this pops up including Amazon.  It’s not enforced as you can simply hit the cancel button and continue on to the site.

      Nothing is both more secure and easier to use. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Passkeys can never replace passwords, as there will always be a need for fallback method of logging on.

        My Microsoft account uses a passkey but has NO password:

        Microsoft account — Signing in with a passkey

        How to go passwordless with your Microsoft account

        Replacing password with passkey IS more secure AND more convenient.
