    Hi,
My provider suggested to turn on SRA (Seamless Rate Adaptation) on my modem to try to gain a more stable connection. Googled on this but found no posts (not even on this lounge!) about how to set this on a modem. Found it has to do with ADSL2. Although I can find SRA in the DSL-status of the modem, there seems to be no way to alter it. Concluded could be a setting at the provider and the modem (if suited) would recognize it and turn this setting on. Now it’s off both ways as you can gather.
Also found on a VDSL-connection there was in an other (same type) modem no mention of SRA, instead it said it had Bitswap on. Again googling I found some articles about SRA and Bitswap doing more or less the same thing: improve the stability of the connection.
Anybody out there who knows more about these functions and on how to set them?

    Just being curious, TIA

    Sjors
