I see some talk in the forums regarding Microsoft end of support for Windows 10 October 2025, and as an option, to switch over to 0patch.
This makes me wonder for peeps that use Microsoft 365 might have an issue.
This is what I read from Microsoft.
“Will Microsoft 365 apps be supported when Windows 10 reaches end of support? Microsoft 365 apps will not be supported on Windows 10 when it reaches end of support on 14 October 2025, because the operating system will no longer meet the system requirements for Microsoft 365 apps.
So, if you get extended support for Windows 10 from Microsoft would that also include Microsoft 365 maybe not? thus you have a problem and would have to switch to
Windows 11.
I am also not sure if 0patch would be patching Microsoft 365 security vulnerabilities either, seems it’s just the windows OS processes into memory. I am curious as to how much memory is used with the 0patch Agent.
Be interesting to see how this plays out…
