Just have to vent, but it is somewhat funny. Got a notice from our server software that one of our hosting client’s account was over their email sending limit. Of course the server stopped it. I thought for sure he was hacked and spam was going out. Nope! He did it! Best part is, we have a separate VPS for his businesses for email newsletters, that is configured for best deliverablity.
I explained to him all of the issues after clearing the queue. Then he sent me the list he was sending to… My email to him, “Did you really try to send almost 15,000 as BCC????? ”
His reply, “Regarding the number of emails, I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that it might incriminate me…sorry”
Ah well, 2 more newsletters to add to his mix 🙂
