This may be an interesting thread for those of you working in enterprise environments. For some reason, 1903 breaks in some occasions the 802.1x authentication with some specific(?) Intel network card/driver combos.
Workaround, replug the network cable, or reboot the computer. The problem is the Wired AutoConfig service, which sends incorrect authentication 802.1x packets to the network switch.
Based on the thread and our experiences at least the user authentication part has issues. We have some reports in our environment which suggest that the machine authentication works just fine, but this is a bit unverified thing.
