I had the “install 1903 when your ready” in my Windows Update but yesterday in began install on its own . Install finished. Now Potplayer does not play. Only freeze frames.
Also my optical audio not working.
I tried to reinstall potplayer, no help.
Reinstalled my audio driver, still no optical output.
For now I am using VLC Player (analog audio)
Not sure what else to do.
Heaven only knows what other erroneous gems await my discovery.
To h*** with “feature” updates . We never needed them in W7 or WXP
