    Hi –
Does anyone know of a way to remove the automatic display of the page numbers in the page break preview? One of my students wants to know. I have not seen anything that would do that, has anyone else?

You can’t as far as I know – that’s half the point of that view, really!

As far as I know, page numbers are an integral part of Page Break view, they can’t be suppressed.

If you just want to see where the page breaks will fall without using Page Break view, switch to print preview and back, or use Page Layout view (the latter is new in Excel 2007)

That’s what I thought but I wanted to check.
      Thanks Rory & Hans!
