I’ve started working with Server 2016 systems recently and I see something new with Server 2016 that I have not seen on other systems. Nothing new for any of you that are already using Server 2016.
I notice that if there are updates available for the system, as soon as you log in you get a dialogue screen that updates are available and the only option you have is to view updates. There is no “X” to close the window and you can’t do anything until you click to view the updates. You can then close the WU window after viewing but now you can’t do anything on the server until you click on the box to view the updates.
