I’m putting this here because I don’t know where else to place it. I tried to create a request on the Outlook page twice with no attachments, just text. Both times i received an error page that said

A potentially unsafe operation has been detected in your request to this site

    What am I missing?

Obviously the content above was not what you wanted to post.

What was the topic title you tried to publish?
What was the content you tried to publish? Did it contain any code?

It was a simple post, text only, no attachments. I tried to add it here and got the same rejection….

I copied it out of a Word document (where it’s easier to create and edit) and pasted it here, like i’ve done on this site (and others) a zillion times. Nothing complicated…

Can I email it to you or something?

      Thanks Susan, for your help.

I copied it out of a Word document

It may come with extra formatting codes that the site doesn’t like.
Try right clicking and selecting “paste unformatted / plain text”.

      cheers, Paul

Other options: The editor’s own “paste as text” button, or its “Text” mode.

How is that a security threat? Really? I already tried putting the text from Word into Notepad and then copying it into here and got the same error. I tried that again.

I also just used your “paste as text” with the same detonation. Danger, Will Robertson! Danger!

I sent the query I was trying to post to the help email address, so maybe they will post it for me, and be able to tell me what the trigger is. Susan, did you get a chance to read that?

      Thanks. WSC3

Saw it, haven’t had a chance to review it yet, (sorry farmer deadlines get first priority today)

I have tried to post responses to my Outlook issue and none of them appear on the page. Am I being blocked?

I also responded to your email. I posted my original issue under a new heading as text and still got the alert.

I can’t seem to post to my question or here…. It registers as done because I get an error message if I repost but I can’t see it in the thread….

Ow. What were my posts doing in the spam bucket?

Like ATT outages, sometimes software just drives you crazy. I have you in a whitelist now, let’s see if we can get you back into good graces with the software.
