    Hi All

I’ve just spent an hour or so trawling the internet for code to save my access 2003 report as a .pdf file.

    I’m afraid I’m really confused.

Can this be done at all without purchasing the full version of Adobe Acrobat Pro?

If it can – can someone give me a link to the best code for this?

If it can’t – if I buy Adobe Acrobat Pro – can’t I just change the name of the printer to the Adobe printer?

I know there’s heaps of stuff already out there, so apologies to those of you for whom this is really old news.

    Many thanks

    Amanda

      Yes it can be done.

There are lots of free pdf converters available, which are installed as printers. To use them you print the file to the pdf printer.
The one I use Bull Zip but there are many others.

And I’ve used PDF995 for several years. If you were working with Access 2007 there is an export to PDF option that was added as a part of SP2, but that doesn’t help you since you are on 2003.

You can use PDFFactory or a Stephan Lebans solution.

Hey John – nice tip on Bullzip. They have some great stuff.

Thanks so much for your help. I downloaded the Bullzip driver and it was so easy.

Fantastic – just what I wanted.
