I have a database with three tables. One is a list of members, one is a list of groups and one is a list of members and the group(s) they are in. I wish to put a subform on members’ form showing which groups they are in. So far, so easy. But I want to be able to delete (yes it works) and add. It’s the adding I’m struggling with. I know I’ve done it in the past with work databases, but I’m missing something as I can’t add a member to a group. The relevant fields (combo boxes) don’t list anything when I click the down pointing arrow at the right hand of the box.

I’ve got a query which I’ve been basing the subform on which has the member id from the members’ table, the group id from the groups table and and these two tables are connected via the table which has the member ID with the relevant group id.
    Googling hasn’t helped either.
Can anyone supply the vital bit of information I need to make this work – or have I been barking up the wrong tree?
