I have been given a Datalogic Jet PDA which runs Microsoft Windows CE 4.2 .NET
I have a number of applications currently written in Access 2000 which I would like to modify so that I can read the Access database from the PDA, add records etc. I understand that I can allocate an IP address to the PDA so that it can connect to my network, but have no idea what software is available to best allow me to handle the communication to Access. Records need to be updated real time between the Access database on the network and the PDA.
Anyone able to give me any first pointers on what software I should be looking into? I understand that there was an application called “Microsoft Pocket Access” but believe that this is no longer available. What are the alternatives and what would people recommend?

just a thought, but I believe WebMatrix (a free ASP.NET development tool from microsoft) has templates for PDA pages. You can check it out for more info…

You can use BBCodes to format your content.
