Acronis True Image Home 9.0 has been updated to build 3625.

I had to uninstall my previous build, perhaps because I installed it for “current user only” instead of “all users”, which I routinely do with all applications that offer that option. Installation when fine. I immediately created a new Boot Disk for this updated build and created a backup image which was very fast.

    Change Log:
    – Direct DVD support
    – WinPE based bootable ISO building new feature
    – GUI Fixes
    – Better hardware support

      Jeff,
Build 3625 installed on my system without a hitch (other than having to input both 9.0’s serial number AND 8.0’s serial number because this was an upgrade .
Otherwise no hitches found yet. smile

When I installed 3633 I got this error:

MESSAGE : Product: Acronis True Image Home — Error 1335. The cabinet file ‘data1.cab’ required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used. This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD-ROM, or a problem with this package.

I had to shut down most of my running tasks. Then I tired it again and the install worked.

There seems to be some new features mentioned in the help file, like the ability to write errors to the Windows Event Log and some other items. These are supposed to be in Options. But I can’t find them. Does anyone else with “Acronis True Image Home

Jeff, I think I’m going to lock this thread since you’ve already started another on the LATEST release (post 575,518). Loungers, please add any comments or questions to that thread if you will. Thank you.
