    Can anyone explain what causes the following message:

    “ActiveX component not correctly registered (Error 336)”

    This occurs when trying to install an add-in.

      Does the add-in include an .ocx or .dll file? If so, select Start | Run…, type

      Regsvr32 “”

      and press Enter to register it.
