I am running Windows Media Center Edition 2005, SP3 and have this annoying problem that I have done various workarounds for but am wondering if there isn’t a simpler answer than using special utilities. In many of the pre-installed programs, when I go to Add or Remove programs there is no Remove button at all. I have gotten around that by using a nifty utility program but the problem is so pervasive I wonder if there isn’t a simpler answer that I am overlooking. Any suggestions? Thanks… :^) gene

Since Revo Uninstaller does a much better job of uninstalling and cleaning out registry entries and file/folders anyway – I would (I do in fact) use it in preference to the regular windows uninstaller. The free version is fine for the majority of us.
