• Adding Text To 3D Cube (Powerpoint 2002)

I draw a three dimensional cube and would like to add text to each dimention. But the “add text” function only lets me add text to the front. Is there an easy way to add text to the two other dimensions ? Thanks.

I’ve stolen this solution from Echo Swinford:
You’ll want to create your side textboxes separately, then use the
rotate feature on the Draw menubar to rotate the textbox to the
appropriate angle. If you need more exact angles, you can use
Format/Textbox and input the value in the rotation option on the Size
tab. (Get out those ol’ geometry books to figure out the side angle…)
Another way is to use wordart. After drawing the cube, create wordart using plain text and remove other custom formatting from the wordart. You can then rotate and twist the wordart to suite the angle of the 3d. Once placed, group the text nd the cube to move and size it as one object!

Thanks. Both works, but not very efficient.
