I have so many programs listed under “All Programs” that I can’t see many of them. How can I get to see the programs at the end of the listing?

Patch reliability is unclear. Unless you have an immediate, pressing need to install a specific patch, don't do it. |

AskWoody LoungerMarch 30, 2003 at 4:24 pm #665050You can also reorganize your menus. If you are using classic start menu – right-click on start button and select properties | customized | advanced
If you are using XP default menu then go to: C:Documents and SettingsAll UsersStart Menu or C:Documents and Settingsyour_profileStart Menu
and organize under programs. I’ve created 5 general folders
1- utilities
2- applications
3- Dev
4- Media
5- Internet
and have sub catorgorized under that – so my menu is fairly compact. -

AskWoody LoungerMarch 30, 2003 at 8:49 pm #665103Briiliant idea! My only problem is that I never remember which category I put something in. I’m doing well enough just remembering the alphabet but, barring an alternative arrangement, I may just categorize them by alpha clusters.
I’ll bet that your closets are organized and that you can find anything on your desk without going through stacks of stuff.
