    I just bought a new computer with a AMD 5700g 3.8 ghz however when I look at it in the task manager it only shows 2.36.

    Is this normal? my old computer had a 3.5 ghz and and task manager showed exactly 3.5

    I am confused

      Depends where you are looking.

      TM-Perf-CPU

      Speed is variable. Base speed conforms to vendor specs.
