I have built a slide presentation for the tennis team Booster club. On the master slide, I put a tennis ball with a motion path that bounces across the court after the sound of a racket hits the ball. A picture of the court is the background of the slide. I want the slide to transition to the next slide as if the ball pulls the slide with it off the screen. In other words, as the ball moves across, I want the wipe right transition to start but I can’t seem to get the animation of the ball to work with the transition without clicking the mouse for the next slide.

      Good morning,

Please excuse the quality of the attachment but I just quickly knocked it up, if its what you are looking for this is what I did

      1. Placed the court, ball and animation path in a Slide Master
      2. Switched back to Normal view
      3. Picked Rehearse Timing from the Slide Show tab on the toolbar and clicked when I wanted the slide to change

      Hope this helps

      Steve

      Editted to include point 2.

That is pretty much what I have done. I just don’t want to use timings because I will talk during the slides. I want to click to trigger the animation but I want that event to also trigger the transition to the next slide. As it is, I have to click once and wait for the ball to go across and then click again to get to the next slide. I would love for the “wipe right” to follow the ball off the page without clicking again. If you click before the ball has finished its path, that ends the animation.

          Morning

I will have a look at the weekend when I have more time and see what I can come up with for Monday

          Cheers

Is this the sort of thing you had in mind?
