Anyone have experience with OwnCloud sync & share?

Hi there

I have been using AeroFS very successfully for a couple of years now. They are however terminating their Hybrid Cloud services in June 2016, and I am looking for alternatives.

I have been closely looking at OwnCloud as the optimal solution since it allows you to connect to data in different locations, sync and share with users almost exactly like DropBox does.

Does anyone have experience with the implementation and use of Owncloud to act as a replication software especially with large numbers of smallish files in many different folders?

Thanks – but it appears that these are fairly long ago, and they spoke of testing or options to try…

I am hoping for some solid experienced users to give some idea of how it performs.
