Appforge 2.1.1 EditRecord and Hotsync on Palm OS 3

When editing a record, if I simply add a character to a field, the EditRecord works ok, However if I delete a character I end up with the original record as well as the edited record on the Palm. Hotsync does only transfer the edited record and removes the original record from the Palm.

How do I get records deleted from the Palm after a hotsync. I

Are you calling PDBUpdate Record after the edit?

Thanks for the replies. As usual immediately after posting my brain kicks into gear & I solve most of my problems. The delete after hotsync is now working, I had placed my code in the wrong place.

The editing has still got me stumped though. Definitely using PDBUpdateRecord.
