In the case of videos, that trouble you are having could be due simply to the default formats for videos used in Macs and Windows being different.

      https://www.winxdvd.com/resource/mac-video-formats-supported.htm

But one can do well with both types of OS by converting both audio and video files to some commonly used formats, such as MP4/MPEG-4, for example.

      https://www.winxdvd.com/answers/mpeg4-vs-mp4.htm

If that turned out to be what is causing your problem, then using a video transcorder software is something you’ll need to consider. I think that “Handbrake” (open source for Macs up to Mojave, at least, Windows 7 and up, and Linux) might have a setting for converting videos in other formats to MP4/MPEG-4.

Mind you, these are just some suggestions to help you get started, not definitive answers.

      They do.
Upload the photos and videos to iCloud, Google photos… access the data using your Win10 and download.

I don’t understand the application of BBCodes here.  Does Apple have Apple-specific codes applied to its photos tyaken on iPhone 11?  Is so, how can it use the JPG and MOV extensions which are published ‘codes’?

You can use BBCodes to format your content.
Your account can't use all available BBCodes, they will be stripped before saving.
