Pretty much it.

Just setting the criteria when topics are archived (after 6 months, year), and locking them from further comment.

Many become “technically outdated”…continuing comments then becomes counterproductive.

Also, marking topics “Solved” (that actually were solved, not abandoned) by either the OP or Admin/Mods is helpful when searching for solutions.

I’m looking at automatically locking threads after a specific amount of time. They can be locked manually now, but going back and doing so would be a Herculean task.

Marking a Topic as “answered” – that’s a great idea. I’ll see if the devs can find or make something.
