    I have MS365 subscription. Just recently I have a yellow triangle saying there’s a problem with my account. It says to let this app access your info

    “MSOffice15 needs your permission to:

    What is this and why the mystery around it? I’ve grown skeptical about just letting any process access my info.

    Oh, and to cancel doesn’t seem to have any affect…

      Answer from Microsoft:

      Augmentation loop is Microsoft’s internal LLM toolchain implementation. You can imagine it is like LangChain registered with hundreds of Microsoft tools. Augmentation loop is being used in almost every single M365 product.

        Thank you for the explanation; however, it’s still a bit beyond my understanding.  I slowed down a bit in my distress and read b’s post, following the link. I had read it before, but gave up on the first page. Second page has an informative entry explaining it all, though I find myself slowly falling behind the times of some of the terminology. Seems there is no “best” answer; only a decision of how much “help” and true help I want from MS. i.e. “personalized content” vs use of Editor, etc.

      MSOffice15 was Office 2013, not 365.

      But see the recent discussion (particularly page 2 of 3) at;
