Looking forward to the upcoming new AskWoody and Windows Secrets merger, I have a question type suggestion, would it be possible to automatically add the date to forum topic addresses showing in the address bar and links similar to how ghacks net does it? example:
https://www.ghacks.net/2018/12/22/cab-update-installer-for-windows/
AskWoody will continue to run on the same base software platform, so changes such as that won’t be able to be implemented. We are subject to WordPress’s defaults, to a certain extent.
We do have the calendar on the right-hand panel, which allows you to search by date, but the blogposts themselves only get saved by year; then the reply page has a topic link that isn’t.
i.e.:

Right now I’m juggling about two hundred spinning plates, while staring up at the Sword of Damocles.
After things settle down a bit I can look at changes. But I’m trying very, very hard to run out-of-the-box software. Stability is a huge goal.

I had to research what that ‘Sword of Damocles’ is about, and now I am concerned for you, you take special care, nobody wants that sword falling on our hero Woody!
