    Hey Y’all,

I ran across this last evening while trying to edit a video from my dash cam.

I’ve been using Avidemux 2.7.4 for quite a while but I haven’t used it since installing W10 1909. When I tried to use it last night it came up with an upgrade to 2.7.5 which promptly downloaded and installed.

The program ran and loaded the video clip in question but would not let me export a clip from it. It kept coming up with the error MUX can not load. I tried several different formats for both Video and Audo but no luck.

So I uninstalled 2.7.4 and reloaded 2.7.4 with the same results. I tried this on both my production and test machines w/o success. I also reloaded the K-Lite codecs w/no change.

So I fired up my Win 10 Insider laptop which still had 2.7.1 loaded and it ran just fine. I had the install file on the laptop so I tried it on the other two machines and again it worked perfectly.

Deduction there is some problem between W10 1909 and Avidemux 2.7.4+

    HTH 😎

No change log for 2.7.5 beta to know what is being changed in the code, there is a support forum.

post in the avidemux forums about the problems with the Win10 v1909 release and see if someone there will respond to them

as for the K-lite codecs, what edition and version are you using, RetiredGeek?
there are basic, standard, full and mega editions of K-lite
