Backup stops at 5:59 AM and PM

I started a backup @ 9:45 PM on 7/26.  It failed at 5:59 AM on 7/27.  I restarted it at 9:25 AM on 7/27 and it failed at 5:59 PM.  The first one was to a local hard drive.  The second one was to my NAS.  What’s special about 5:59?

Look at reliability monitor for errors
Look at scheduled tasks

A backup that is taking 8 hours to run is not working IMO. I can do a full  image backup to USB disk in less than 30 minutes.

What type of backup are you doing?
How much data are you backing up?
Did it ever work?
