    What datatype works best for a 15 character barcode, Long integer was my first guess but it is outside the limits of a long, I am using text now, and it seems fine, but does anyone have a better suggestion?

      Text seems an appropriate data type, since you don’t need to perform calculations with the bar code. If you prefer a number data type, try Currency (but the maximum value is 922.337.203.685.477)
