Word 2007 will show blinking fonts from earlier messages but does not have that capability itself.
Is there a way to insert blinking fonts? I realize that Text doesn’t work in MSIE 7.
    TIA

Select the text and then go to Format/Font and the “Text Effects” tab and select the effect you want.

      Fred,
Thanks for trying. Which version of WORD 2007 are you using. I am using the trial version and the help says that blink was eliminated. Is the release version different from the Trial version or are you using one of the Betas?

Sorry, I plead to too much egg nog. I didn’t read carefully enough. I am using Woprd 2003 and this reply refers to that version.

Can you not simply copy some existing blinking text, paste it elsewhere, and then edit it? Or does the blinking effect not get copied?

        William,
According to the help file this might be possible if you worked as doc rather than docx. Since IE 7 no longer blinks in response to this in hypertext it would be worthless except in electronically viewed word documents so I am dropping the issue.
