I am using Win98 and Office2000. I am experiencing a persistent invalid page fault error which occurs when closing either IE 5.5 or Netscape Navigator 4.74. The memory location of the invalid page fault 015f:bff7b997 is always the same. I experience an identical error on another machine running identical software. I started getting the error with IE 5.01 but the upgrade to 5.5 has had no effect. The Windows diagnostic dump looks like:-
IEXPLORE caused an invalid page fault in
module KERNEL32.DLL at 015f:bff7b997.

Although this error seems to have no effect on performance it is certainly very annoying. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this error with both browsers?
