The last few days I have only been able to open one browser screen. I’ve rebooted several times.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

      What happens when you try?

I get a quick hourglass next to the pointer, and then nothing. The current browser works, but I can only navigate in the one browser.

If there is a link that is supposed to open in a new window, it will not open. I have to copy and paste the link in the address bar if I want to view the linked page.

Run the “Repair” wizard that is in the “Control Panel”, “Add/ Remove Software” and the select MS IE 6.

Found out what the deal is.

I installed anti-pop up software. Disabled it and now I can open multiple browsers.

That’s interesting. What anti pop-up software did you install?

              FYI:
I was playing around the other day trying to view multiple IE windows and had reduced them to a smaller size so I could view them all at once.
After closing them, of course, next time IE had remembered their size and opened up a new window the size of a pop-up and up came PopUpKiller….

Hmmm. I think I’m going to try AdSubtract & see how that works. I’ve downloaded but haven’t installed it.

              It is Pop-Up Stopper.

You just proved that IE will remember your last windows size. evilgrin
