Cannot join on Memo, OLE, or Hyperlink Object (A2k Sr1)

I recently received an error message, Cannot join on Memo, OLE, or Hyperlink Object, while joining two tables. I am importing data from MS project via the transfer database do.command but have done this before without getting the error. I tried to compact and repair the database but still get the error. I am not using hyperlink or Memo fields. Any ideas??

This was the problem I encountered. I have fixed this in the past by running a query that takes a subset of the original data and populates a new table. The join is then made against the new table. I will try this to see if it works.
