Google drive is installed and I have a G: drive. Clicking on the Drive icon in the task bar just goes to G:, and does not open the app.  I tried to uninstall the app to reinstall it, but Windows won’t allow the uninstall, saying the app is running.  Killing 7 instances of Google Drive in the Task Mangler doesn’t fix it.

    I’m running Windows 10 Pro on a Lenovo M-series.

I finally got Google Drive uninstalled, then rebooted.  Installed the latest Google Drive app.  No joy.

When I click the Google Drive icon, a smallish window pops up, and is instantly gone, then Explorer opens in G:.

What the heck am I doing wrong?

That reboot seems to have done the trick, though I wasn’t smart enough to check the system tray.  I was expecting the app to appear when clicking on the Google Drive icon in the taskbar.
